DESCRIPTION:Ebensburg’s Halloween Parade & Trick-or-Treat will be held on Saturday\, October 31\, 2026. \nThe parade will begin at 1 pm at Dauntless Fire Hall on W. Sample Street. It will turn right onto N. Center\, right onto W. High Street and then right again on Julian Street. Trick-or-Treating will start from there and will go until 4 pm. Residents who are interested in participating should leave a porch light on. \nAlong the route\, be sure to pick-up treats from the Ebensburg VFW\, Wolf’s Performing Arts – who will be set-up in Penn Eben Gazebo – and Codex Comics & Collectibles! \nA Halloween Party will be held at the YPCC from 3 to 5 pm and a Holy-One Harvest Festival will be held at the Lakeside Church at 1006 Rowena Drive from 6 to 8 pm. \n

DESCRIPTION:EBENSBURG SEEKS MEMORIAL DAY PARADE PARTICIPANTS \nEbensburg – Each year\, organizers of Ebensburg’s annual Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony seek participants for the annual Memorial Day Parade set to take place on Memorial Day at 10:00 a.m. in historic downtown Ebensburg. \nThe Memorial Day Ceremony in Veteran’s Park will follow the parade at 10:30 a.m. In the case of inclement weather\, the parade will not be held and the ceremony will take place inside at the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church\, 200 North Center Street at 10:30 a.m. \n“Anything people can do to help remember the men and women that have sacrificed is appreciated”\, said Bob Slebodnick\, Commander of VFW Post 4963. “Ebensburg’s Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony are a special tribute to those who have served and sacrificed from the American Revolution to our current generation of service members.” \nAny businesses\, organization\, military service men and women\, Boy Scout & Girl Scout Troops\, marching bands\, Church groups\, and classic vehicle owners wishing to participate in the parade to help commemorate this special Memorial Day celebration are required to pre-register by Friday\, May 14th. The registration form can be found online here or interested participants may contact dkoss@ebensburgpa.com to have one sent out. It is held on the last Saturday of September each year! The county is the second largest supplier of potatoes in the state. The festival is a fun-filled day of arts\, crafts\, entertainment\, and food for the entire family. Entertainers perform throughout the day with music to please all ages. Over 200 crafters and artisans line the streets for blocks with homemade wares and food of all kinds. SUMMARY:Fall Foliage Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 14th annual fall foliage bicycle ride/walk along the Ghost Town Trail. Riders are invited to first drop their bikes off at the Ebensburg Trailhead (YPCC)\, drive to where they plan to end their ride (Vintondale\, 13 miles; Dilltown\, 18.9 miles or Saylor Park\, 31.6 miles)\, park their car and catch the bus back to the Ebensburg Trailhead. \nThe bus will begin picking up at designated trail parking at Saylor Park at 12:30 pm\, Dilltown at 1 pm and Vintondale at 1:30 pm. The bus will then return to the Ebensburg Trailhead with an intended event start time of 2:00 pm. Please note\, once you have finished your ride and return to your vehicle\, you will need a bike rack or trailer to transport your bike back with you. \nIf you are riding with a partner/group\, please have them wait at the YPCC trailhead so that the bus has room for more riders. \nTo register\, email dkoss@ebensburgpa.com with your contact information\, intended pick-up location\, number of participants and number of people who need the shuttle pick-up\, OR you can complete the online registration form here. \nThis event is hosted by the Ebensburg Main Street Partnership.
