9/29/2023 – BOIL WATER ADVISORIES ARE NOW LIFTED

ATTENTION EBENSBURG WATER CUSTOMERS:

9/27/23 – A boil water advisory is in effect for a portion of the area served by the Ebensburg Municipal Authority. A water line break on Pine Street has resulted in loss of pressure on Lovell Avenue in Ebensburg Borough. The water company cannot confirm when the advisory will be lifted. Loss of pressure can interfere with disinfection and provide a medium for microbial growth. Low pressure may indicate the presence of disease-causing organisms. The organisms include bacteria, viruses, and parasites, which can cause symptoms such as nausea, cramps, diarrhea and associated headaches.
The area affected by the boil water notice includes Lovell Avenue in Ebensburg Borough.
All affected customers are advised to not drink their water without boiling it first. Bring the water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and then let it cool before using it, or use bottled water.
The boil water advisory will last for at least 3 days. The Ebensburg Borough will notify you when the advisory is lifted.

9/26/23 – A water leak on Pine St. has made it necessary for the Ebensburg Borough to turn the water off to do repairs. The area served by the Ebensburg Municipal Authority includes Pine Street, Crestwood Area and parts of New Germany Road in Cambria Township. The water will be turned off at 7 AM on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

When water service resumes a boil water advisory will be in effect. The water line break will result in loss of pressure. The water company cannot confirm when the advisory will be lifted.
