PUBLIC NOTICE OF SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 1201 of the Boroughs and Incorporated Towns Code that beginning on Monday, April 17, 2023, 8:00 A.M. EST, Borough Council will offer for sale to the highest bidder at electronic auction sale the following items which will be for sale in “as is” condition: 1). 2008 Case 580SM Backhoe; 2). NorthStar Skid Sprayer BU2730; 3). 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 ST REG Cab 4×4; 4). 54-inch tow behind power take-off mower deck; 5). Leeboy 300 Asphalt roller.
Bids are being accepted through the Municibid website at https://municibid.com/ . Items for sale can be found under the Pennsylvania municipality listing of Ebensburgboro.
The auction will open for bidding until May 16, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. Bids will be opened on May 16, 2023 at 12:30 P.M. EST. The duration of the listing is from Monday April 17, 2023, until Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. EST for a total of 28 days. The award of the bid agreement of sale shall be made by public announcement at the regular meeting of Council on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 6:30 P.M. EST at the municipal building on 300 West High St, Ebensburg PA, 15931.
All bids shall be accepted on the condition that the purchase price shall be paid by the high bidder immediately or at a reasonable time after the conclusion for the electronic auction as determined by the Borough. Successful bidders must be prepared to pay the amount due in cash, or a certified check or money order made payable to Ebensburg Borough. The bidder is responsible for all transfer costs associated with the sale of the vehicles and/or equipment, including any applicable sales tax. There are no warranties expressed or implied or no refunds, all listed vehicles and /or equipment are being offered for sale in their current condition.
Ebensburg borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids received. Please call the Borough office at (814)472-8780 to inspect the items for sale. Inspections are by appointment only.
